How do I convert a pixel graphic to a vector graphic for plot printing?
Pixel graphics cannot be used for plot printing. In order to do this, they must be converted into vector graphics.
You can completely do this, or at least make good headway, with a conversion program such as CorelTrace.
In this type of a program it is possible to open the pixel graphic and vectorise it "along the curves".
This programme automatically creates curves along the shape of the design. You can save this curve and edit it in a vector graphics programme.
Note: In general converting photographs into a printable vector graphic is difficult and requires a lot of time and effort.
Information on how to create a vector graphic in general can be found in our tutorial .
Or you ask our graphic service to make your design ready for plot printing.
