You are looking for a challenging position in a highly qualified and motivated team? You would like to work in an international environment as well as in a fast moving organization with great development opportunities? You would like to be a part of a world-class finance department? We are looking for you as our Staff Accountant (f/m)! You will report directly to the Polish Production Director and the Financial Director of the German parent company

 

Your tasks:

  • General and purchase ledger of a production entity
  • Regular financial reporting to group parent company
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
  • Preparation for tax filings (in cooperation with our tax consultant)
  • Running the accounting files and documentation according to the company's policy and accounting legal regulations
  • Carrying out ZUS (social security) settlements
  • Keeping VAT settlements and records
  • Prepare payments to suppliers and contractors
  • Maintain the fixed assets records
  • Maintain the cash and bank accounts
  • Preparation of statistics reports
  • Direct reporting to the Global Finance Director in Germany with a dotted line to the Polish Director Production

 

Your Profile:

  • You have more than 4 years of experience as an accountant, experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Your educational background is related to economics, finance or accounting
  • You speak very good Polish and English or German
  • Experience in a production related company is a plus
  • In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Polish GAAP (CIT), IFRS is a plus
  • You have sound knowledge in Polish tax law (esp. VAT)
  • Knowledge of EU (intra-community) transactions rules and regulations
  • You have very good computer skills: MS-Office and accounting software
  • You have a highly organized working style.

Of advantage:

  • Additional languages
  • Knowledge of German/Irish/UK GAAP
  • ERP implementation experience (as a user)
