I have been pole dancing since the early 2000's and am an addict. Yes it keeps you fit and strong, but while wearing heels and grinding down to some bad-ass music. I've often found myself wearing gear with other logos and slogans on to my pole classes, and I thought it was about time there was something more special to pole.
