My style vs. the rules

I’ve had a few designs rejected and it’s brought to my attention the fact that the way I work seemingly clashes with Spreadshirt’s rules. I like to include a little bit of background - what’s the difference between background and an outline? - on some designs, but in those cases it is always a considered part of the motif. Some designs also feature what you might call ‘dirt’, which again is intentional on my part, but of course can easily be mistaken for bad Photoshopping.

Here are some examples

145473167
145470337
145420199
145018458
144996851

I don’t believe they’ll print badly or anything like that. In fact, they’ll come out exactly as I intended. Should I just give in and change my style or is there something that can be done? I understand why you have these rules, but it doesn’t make sense to me to apply them in this way. Unless I’m missing something?

thanks

Hiya @bugeyefly, I’m struggling a bit to get feedback for you right before Easter. We’ll get back to you next week - I hope that’s still ok!
