Vector File

Good evening all,

I understand Vector files are the best in terms of print quality as it uses Flex Print rather than DTG via Bitmap files which to me isn’t as good. I’ve created a Vector File and when I try and upload the .AI file it says " Your file can’t be read. Delete it or upload a different version.". But if I upload the .PNG file then it becomes a Bitmap file, I’ve had a T-Shirt and Hoodie printed using this method with DTG and I feel it looks really bad and I’m not happy.

Please could someone advise me on why my Vector file isn’t uploading? I’m happy to send it to someone to check and advise? It’s 2 colours (White and Blue) and it’s within the specs as far as I can see (Size is 280 x 72mm) and I’m using Illustrator 2020.

Many thanks in advance!

Hon

It looks like I’ve managed to resolve this! I decided to save the .AI file to a previous older version of Illustrator (Illustrator CC) just to see if it makes any difference, low and behold it works!
